dgj200 Refurbishment Industrial Tower to Bitburger Brewery Headquarters
The old brewery tower from the 1980s is no longer in original use as a beer silo. The challenge was to integrate the tower, which dominates the skyline of the small town, as an important landmark of the city and the brewery group. The magnificent view from the building onto the landscape connects the brand with its Eifel homeland. The foyer in the existing office building will be renovated and the existing cinema converted into a multifunctional conference room.
Further meeting rooms can be found on the ground floor of the tower building, which is directly connected by a passageway. In addition, the catering consultancy “Konzeptfabrik” finds its new home on the ground floor. On the upper floors 1-7, office areas will be created for the various departments of the Bitburger Brewery and Bitburg Holding. On the top floors a gym, recreational spaces, a student laboratory as well as a canteen and adjacent roof terrace will complement the offices.
