Various private individuals have come together for the Allmendix residential group to implement a joint multi-generational residential project in Weinheim. With DGJ Architektur they are planning to erect a resource-saving building on a plot of land in the Allmendäcker development area in Weinheim. This building will contain approx. 18 apartments, which will be inhabited in a balanced ratio by young families and people up to retirement age. In addition to the individual apartments, there will be common rooms and resources.
The urban planning concept aims to bring the community together by creating a central outdoor space around which community life will be organized. The most public spaces of the residential units face this central space, while the more private spaces are at the rear of the building.
